Adam began martial arts at the Minnesota Kali group in 1991. He joined the MMAA in 1993 after spending some time traveling the country. Adam competed in Muay Thai at the Prince’s Cup with Team USA, in Uttaradit Thailand 1996. He won the Extreme Trials championship in 1999 a No Holds Barred style competition. He won a Minnesota regional golden gloves boxing championship in 2000. Adam has taught Muay Thai at the MMAA since 1995.
