Greg Nelson is the owner of the Minnesota Martial Arts Academy and is one of the top Muay Thai and Mixed Martial Arts trainers in the country. Greg is a former college wrestler, an Advanced Student in Shooto, Full Instructor in Combat Submission Wrestling, Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and top Muay Thai Instructor. He has the ability to teach the essence of all these arts in a progressive and effective way to benefit all levels, from beginner to competitive fighter. Greg has produced, over the past 6 years, many top ranked fighters including Sean Sherk, Dave Menne, Brad Kohler, John Renken, James Cook, and numerous amateur champions in NHB and Muay Thai.
